9.0The inn feels very new, spacious, has good lighting, and in a way presents a very curated representation of what a traditional Japanese inn would be like. Our room had all the facilities we needed and everything felt super clean. The neighborhood was quite peaceful as well.
− Overall I liked everything, the only thing was that it felt a little far from some stores and the metro station (though not terribly). Also, be aware that there are no chairs in the room, you have to sit on the floor/futons, which can be slightly uncomfortable

10.0My friend suggested this ryokan to me, and it was so amazing. I felt at home for a week, thanks to the very very nice owner (and his mom). The room is very spacious, and I personally love sleeping on futon. Since it’s a residential area, it was a quiet place. It made me feel like a local for a few days. I was able to enjoy the sento near the place a few times, which was also a big plus. I also tried a udon place nearby and it was delicious. Thank you so much !

10.0The nicest experience staying at a traditional ryokan! The toilet/shower sharing was perfect, everything was impeccable clean and organized, and the host was the friendliest! We felt at home and would love to come back one day.

Beautiful base for exploring Kyoto
10.0One of our favorite stays in all of Japan. Beautifully and tastefully decorated, very comfortable futons with down duvets, huge showers, and the owner was exceptionally kind and helpful and gave us great recs. Great quiet location and easy to bike or bus to everything. Would absolutely stay again.
