房东Marcello实在是太热情太大方了，是此行最满意的一家住宿，价格完全超出预料，虽然在4楼但是行李是房东和他儿子帮我们搬上去和搬下来的（唯一一个搬行李的！），有三个空调（大夏天太救命了），还送了入住红酒和零食饼干，整个房间的装饰都是Marcello自己完成的并且还取了名字，确实能看出对房子的用心程度，如果下次来还会住！

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! The host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our trip. The room was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. Plus, the location is fantastic and extremely convenient for transportation, making it so easy to explore the area. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Italy and would definitely love to stay here again!

The Best Hosts Ever! Clean, Comfortable, Wonderful

We had a great stay at "Art Apartment" Via S. Gallo 82, Firenze (not to be confused with Florence Art Apartments when searching for this apartment). It was our pleasure to meet Marcello and his two wonderful boys, who helped us with our luggage up four flights of stairs. Without luggage, we were able to run up and down the stairs without any issues and got plenty of added steps to our daily routine! Though the apartment is in an old building, once you opened the door, it was a pleasant, comfortable, nicely decorated place to call home for the next 5 days. We walked everywhere from the apartment, including, but not limited to, the Basilica of Santa Croce, the Florence Cathedral, Ponte Vecchio, Oltrarno and Piazzalle Michelangelo. Be forewarned, however, you should be prepared to walk as certain of these places can take up to 35 minutes from the apartment. There is public transportation available, but we did not utilize such transportation. When we arrived, there were welcome gifts, snacks and water, as well as an awesome guide where you could access instructions to the washing machine, coffee pot, etc. Everything in the apartment was in good working order. We used the washing machine several times, and this helped with having clean clothes throughout our trip. The bathroom shower worked great, and there were plenty of towels--even wash clothes (which is rare in Italian hotels/apartments). Marcello thought of everything. It was so well equipped. You could cook meals at the apartment if you wanted to, but we didn't cook at home. Marcello was always available to us. The artwork in the apartment was fun. We only used one of the two bedrooms to sleep but utilized the other bedroom to store suitcases, etc. Overall, we highly recommend this apartment enough. It was fun, comfortable, conveniently located, safe and a great place to make our stay in Firenze simply the best!

− We didn't realize the apartment was on the 4th floor, but because Marcello and his sons carried our bags, this turned out not to be a problem. Walking up and down the stairs kept us in shape for our trip! Overall, there was really nothing that we didn't like except to have to leave for our next destination!

Hospitality plus!

The hospitality shown by Marcello was top notch, couldn't have asked for better help and guidance to enjoy all that Florence has to offer. The accommodation itself was perfect, comfy bed, all mod cons. Supreme!! Also the location was great as it was away from the noise and hustle and bustle of the tourist areas.

− Only negative was the 3 flights of stairs but certainly do-able! No other negatived at all.

If I go back to Florence, there is no doubt I would stay here again! Excellent!!!

Everything about this rental was exceptional! The host, Marcello, met us at the corner and helped us carry our luggage to the apartment (three floors up, with no elevator). Marcello and his sons were so kind and helpful; they set the bar incredibly high, and now we hope every rental experience will be as wonderful as this one. The apartment is beautiful, filled with great art, and conveniently located close to the tourist area, but not so close that it could be noisy. It's listed as having only one bathroom, but it also has an additional half bathroom, which was a wonderful surprise as we were four people trying to get ready at the same time. Marcello welcomed us with gifts and helpful recommendations. The apartment was clean and well-maintained.

− Three floors with no elevator was not great, but Marcello helped us bring the luggage to the apartment so it was really not an issue. Nothing else, everything was awesome.

− Water flow in the shower is really slow. Not powerful enough for a good shower. Water leaks at the shower compartment.
