Other than the elevator incident, we are satisfied overall with our stay.
8.0Location close to main train station, spacious room and bathroom in an old building, strong AC during heat wave, with ref and kettle, coffee and tea and cold drinking water from a dispenser.
− Hotel is on the 4th floor of an old building but all buildings in Florence are old. We were not informed beforehand of the code to use the elevator. We arrived during a heatwave. After walking under intense heat with our luggage, had to go up four floors because we were not provided with the elevator code beforehand. They only emailed it after the fact. TV is not usable because there is no single english channel.

Comfotable and convenient.
8.0Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean linens and bathroom. High ceilings and a window that opens. Efficient AC at peak heat (90F for 4 days in a row). Wardrobe for clothes. Coffee and tea and kettle for boiling water. Location in the middle of everything.
− The elevator is too small and I am claustrophobic. It didn't bother other people but I ended up climbing 91 steps up and down when I needed to go out. Bellevue is on the third floor of an older building. Safe should be anchored to something, either wall or wardrobe, otherwise what's the point? It is just like a light box.
