We stayed in the studio apartment for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. The apartment and the entire building are beautifully designed — modern yet full of charm, preserving the history and heritage of the place. The apartment was very comfortable, and the mattress was excellent. We arrived in Florence by car, and the owner kindly allowed us to park in the building’s parking area, even though the apartment doesn’t officially include parking. The location was perfect for us — we didn’t need to drive into the city center, and all the main attractions were easily accessible on foot or by public transport.

Eugenio was the perfect host, so hospitable and kind. His communication was brilliant, letting us know the apartment was ready early and also making several local recommendations for places to eat. I needed some antibiotics whilst staying and Eugenio explained how I could get them, which was super easy and made a stressful situation far more simple. The apartment itself was decorated beautifully, with gorgeous high ceilings. The garden allowed a sense of calm in the city for when we needed a break from the crowds. The history of the building and it being a family project made it all the more lovely. We’ll definitely use Eugenio’s apartment again when we return to Florence - thank you!

Fine, romslige rom og koselig kjøkken. Fint med egen bakhage. Alt var rent og ordentlig. Verten var veldig behjelpelig. Lånte oss mobil lader og svarte raskt på spørsmål når vi hadde det.

− Det var et stykke lengre inn til sentrum enn vi var helt klar over, men enkelt å greit å finne frem. Og det var både matbutikk og bra bakeri og cafe veldig nærme. Kort veg til Bobolihagen.

We had an amazing experience at Eugenio’s place! From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly attentive and even took the time to meet us personally, which made us feel so welcome. The communication was smooth and quick, and Eugenio went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during our stay. The apartment was beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches (restaurant recommendations) that made it feel like a home away from home. Thank you, Eugenio, for being such a wonderful host — we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area!

Beautiful renovated house near porta Romana. Gorgeous place, amazing garden, comfortable rooms and a great, responsive host. There are 4 one bedroom apartments on the first floor, a five bedroom with the huge garden on the second, and two two bedroom places on the third floor. You can mix and match for any size group. We rented a one BR, a 2 BR, and the big place for a family get together. It was perfect. The neighborhood is a mile from ponte veccio and has a quieter, more local vibe. The bus stop at porta romana let you get a to lots of places quickly - we went to sienna in an hour. This place is what vacation rentals are all about, like staying in a bit of history.
