A great location, but the poor maintenance, cleanliness and safety issues made the stay disappointing.
4.0Location of the property was one of the things we all liked, communication with the owner was good.
− Unfortunately the property needs significant maintenance and cleaning. There was a lack of attention to safety, with sockets broken in the walls and loose fittings and a plug in the bathroom which had no curtain for the bath, water going into this would have caused a significant power cut. These felt unsafe especially for children. The TV was unstable and could easily fall, as it was sliding side to side, creating a potential hazard. The kitchen very small. With broken or outdated cabinets that really needs replacing. It also wasn’t very clean. The bathroom needed some TLC, the bathtub wasn’t clean, the towels were poor quality with bleach stains and there was no bathroom mat present in the first day as it was hanging outside the window, this made the floor soaked after each shower. The toilet seat didn’t fit properly which was uncomfortable. There was also no control over the heating which caused the room to become overly hot. Additionally there was a bad drainage smell when we returned to the apartment after being out. Overall the property’s location is its only redeeming feature, but it really needs a thorough refurbishment and better maintenance to make it comfortable and safe for quests, we was only there for three days, but anymore then that I don’t think we would have lasted.
