− It was at the bottom of hill and to go up to city had to walk through ALOT of very annoying hustlers trying to get you to visit their restaurant. Was no way to avoid them.

Enjoable stay in a comfortable apartment in the Old Town
9.0For us, it was an ideal one-bedroom apartment in the Old Town of Istanbul, just 10-min walk uphill to the Blue Mosque yet in an absolutely quiet area. Very clean apartment with well-stocked kitchen and extra linens for bed (which was of a medium firmness and comfortable). Our apartment was on the 1st floor so we did not need to climb the (very steep and narrow) staircase. However, it can be an issue for some people staying on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The self-checking was well-explained to us in advance by the host and hence it was easy.
− Two things to improve: 1) (Minor): fix the holder of the manual shower head so it would stay in place and not fall out. 2) (Major): Respond to all messages from the guests as quickly as possible. Since it’s an apartment, the host is the major live support for the guests, and speed of the communication is extremely important.
