Beautiful and clean home, great location, LOVED.
10.0This was a beautiful home. We were so grateful to stay in such a historical home. It added value to our trip.

Great traditional house in central location
10.0The location was great, in old town Kyoto. Near plenty of shops, restaurants and a main shopping strip. Easy walk to the Gion. Safe neighbourhood with easy access to most of downtown Kyoto. We even walked to TeamLabs!
Mixed thoughts
10.0Location was good. Place was clean. There is an AC unit in every room. There is a v60 coffee dripper and a coffee which was a surprise. Kitchen is small but enough. Bathroom was surprisingly large and comfortable.
− There wasn't a dish draining rack. Had to leave dirty dishes in the sink. Ceiling was too low. Had to bend my neck all the time. I forgot that check-in office is near the kyoto station. It takes around 30 minutes by walking. It was a little inconvenient especially with 2 big luggages. I wish they do online check-in. Personally I wouldn't pay that much again. Not because of the house or the host but the experience wasn't for me
Japanese traditional home like in fairytale
10.0It was our first time in Kyoto, and we had the pleasure of staying in such a traditional Japanese home. Firstly, the location was great — 7-Eleven is just about 50 steps away, and the main street is around an 8-minute walk. The house is beautiful and traditional, while at the same time having everything you need — even an auto-lock on the main door. The garden felt like something out of a fairytale. The staff were wonderful. Thanks a lot!
