10.0This property, the owners and the staff were all wonderful. Try the traditional breakfast, it is a must do. The property is charming, the size of the room is a great value and everything is clean and orderly. The location is superior, close to Nishiki Market, high end shopping and only about a 10 minute walk to public transportation. Many good food choices close by from small authentic restaurants to the many food stalls in Nishiki Market Taxis as very reasonable in Kyoto, so feel free to use them if you don’t wish to walk This property is highly recommended.

10.0Super super friendly stuff! Great location for walking around the market. we had a short stay in Kyoto so sleeping on the floor was not a big problem. Great to experience Japanese culture. The breakfast was Wowing and festive. Highly recommended.
Comfortable Ryokan in Kyoto
10.0Very friendly and sweet couple running the ryokan. The made you feel like you were home. The ryokan was very clean and the rooms were spacious. We appreciated the private bathroom and also used the public bath. They provided hot water and tea along with wonderful cookies. We really like the location which was adjacent to Nishiki Market. We would definitely stay here again.
