Convenient and acceptable if not perfect
7.0The location is not too bad....15 min or EUR 40 by taxi to and from the airport. No public transport directly to the airport. There are however good options to go into town, Metro and Tram. The property is recent, nicely done up. The staff tries hard and well. The beds are comfrotable. The black out curtains work well enough for me. The rooms are well sound proofed. Gym: good enough for maintenance...one can do a weight lifting session there...not bad at all
− The wifi is ab-und-zu as the germans say. My strong dislikes (sadly): Location: the lack of direct shuttle or public transport to the hotel Tea cups: thanks for providing tea bags and a kettle..why provide expresso cups only? how does one drink tea with an expresso cup...room designing by accountants Temperature: forget about setting the tempoerature in your room...it was freezing cold at 19.5C...the thermostat had not effect, it is there for decoration. The hotel brought me a portable heater and a blanket (in august)...because they know they can't do anything about it Food: the food choices are not great...it is mostly get-fat food... Spa: lovely space...dirty...how disapointing

Guests are required to wear swimwear and slippers when accessing the spa. Please note that Vitality Spa Amsterdam is not accessible for persons under 18 years of age. The swimming pool at Vitality Spa is only accessible to spa guests. Vitality Spa Amsterdam is exclusively open for women every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 12:00 to 17:30. Reservations are required for Ladies Afternoon. The hotel reserves the right to take a pre-authorization on your card prior to arrival. A deposit of €50 per night will be charged to your card at check-in for incidentals. Any unused credit will be released upon check-out. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
