2.0− Don’t go there. I can find only one advantage: great location in the heart of Bairro Alto district. Except from this only problems. First thing was a big constant noise and vibration of the floor in the living room. It felt like a huge fridge was located directly under this room. The owner said it is caused by the restaurant below, so they basically can do nothing, moreover they have no more available rooms, so if that noise will remain after restaurant closes, well, sh*t happens. Fortunately after the restaurant closes at 17 pm the noise stops, but comes back in the morning. The condition of all tailor made pieces of furniture is a joke. The are completely broken and every single piece needs to be repaired. Looks like the pictures come from about 10 years ago. There is no AC! And right next to the windows there is a tram line. So it is not possible to sleep with the noise of the tram, street, loud people, etc. But with closed windows (which are surprisingly well sound proof) you can die because of heat and lack of fresh air. There was also a problem with the front gate. We and other guest couldn’t come in or get out, because of the electrical emergency. The electrician came several times. We could predict if this particular time we would be able to get in to the apartment. Basically never book it, 1/10!!!
