Our family of 5 absolutely loved our stay in this exceptional traditional Japanese property!
10.0The hostess was incredibly helpful answering all of our questions prior to our stay as well as while onsite. The home was outfitted with everything we needed: extra large water bottles in the fridge, a fresh towel for each night of our stay (x the number of guests), a tea set with complimentary green tea and biscuits, toilet kit "boxes" for each guest full of bathroom accessories, as well as a birthday cake in the fridge for my son's birthday! The home was tranquil and serene, with the most comfortable mattresses and futons, and a fantastic tub and shower. Having two toilets, one upstairs, that were separate from the tub/shower room worked well for our group of five. The home was well situated for easy walking to many of the sights we wanted to visit, and the optional breakfast boxes we had delivered each morning were filled with high quality, delicious foods. Definitely a 10 out of 10 visit!
− The address I gave the taxi driver was incorrect, and he could not locate the property. I thought I had gotten the address from Booking.com or the property website, but it was not correct. Fortunately, the taxi driver called and spoke to the hostess and she happily walked around the corner to greet us and walk us back to the house, even though by that time it was after 6pm and past their check in time. Despite the home being on a semi busy street, it was very quiet inside and the kids did not hear any traffic sounds at night or in the mornings from their tatami bedroom on the front side of the house.
