10.0Kyoto Takasegawa Bettei exceeded every expectation. The property is absolutely beautiful, blending traditional Japanese charm with exceptional comfort. The staff were incredibly warm, courteous, and always willing to help, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. Our room was surprisingly spacious by Japanese standards and beautifully designed. The tatami flooring in the living area, elegant shoji screens, and stunning wooden bath made us feel as though we had stepped back in time while still enjoying the comfort of a modern bed. The hotel is tucked away in a peaceful neighbourhood, yet it’s perfectly located within easy walking distance of train stations, bus stops, and a fantastic selection of restaurants and bars. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Kyoto. Every detail reflected the care and thought that has gone into creating such a special experience. We cannot recommend Kyoto Takasegawa Bettei highly enough and would absolutely stay here again.
