8.0Overall the Apartment was ok. It was difficult to understand how to get the key and the stairs are a little precarious. The Apartment is tired and could do with a facelift. It's a shame the layout could not be altered as getting in the toilet and separate shower (in the kitchen) were difficult if you aren't thin !! However it has to score high for location being close to the Rialto bridge

Great location for a rustic apartment
8.0The location of Mario’s apartment was perfect for staying within the city of Venice. The apartment was very small and had no air conditioning, it was rough around the edges, but very clean. We were very happy with the location as it allowed us easy access to all the sites and was in a very lively area. Lots of restaurants and shopping near by.

4.0Property is not in good shape. Has no Air Conditioning. No adequate blinds on windows. Toilet seat broken, Shower broken. Shower size is 24 inches by 24 inches. Too small. Picture on walls are the stock pics that come with frames. Pillows are horrible. Bed is 4 inches thick. One fan in an apartment without A/C is inadequate. Stairs are very small and steep with no elevator. Door at bottom entry is loud and needs fixed. Windows and walls have no insulation. You hear every conversation and noise on busy street outside bedroom.This is decent compared to a hostel but not a very nice place to stay.
