10.0Tout absolument parfait, je ne suis pas habitué aux futons japonais pour en retirer une nuit reposante

10.0I made the right choice to stay here. One of the best experience I had in Kyoto, I wished I booked more than a night. The staff were very welcoming and courteous, they gave me a 5 star service. The room, actually it was more of a suite, was clean. I felt like I was in a different world when I was there because of the set up/ambiance. They also have a great location, just right beside the shrine. Just don’t bring heavy luggage because of the stairs, I felt bad that they carried my heavy luggage for me. Also, not their fault, the GPS made walked around the shrine when the hotel was just located almost in front the bus stop.

10.0If you are looking for a traditional ryokan experience, then this is the ryokan for you. The ryokan provided comfortable yukata for guests to wear including to breakfast and the kaiseki, hosted in a beautiful restaurant with views of the garden. The traditional Japanese breakfast (included in price of stay) was different and delicious each morning, and the kaiseki was a unique experience, although expensive. The tatami beds were comfortable and the barrel style tub in the room was delightful. The only drawback of the room was that parts receiving sunlight (vanity, couch-seating area) were very hot when we visited (100+ degrees F in late July), so it required some adjustments with the doors and AC. One thing to note for Westerners - you need to take off your shoes in the lobby and put on wooden sandals and then do another change into slippers provided by the hotel before walking up the stairs to the rooms and then take off your shoes before entering your room. It makes for a tricky walk up and down the steep stairs with limited hand railings. The onsen was small, but high quality with an infinity style tub. The staff were very accommodating and patient with clumsy westerners

10.0I loved the traditional room (although my husband would have liked a western chair). The owners and staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were amazing!
Imersão na cultura japonesa!
10.0ESPETACULAR!!!! Hotel lindo e no melhor estilo das gueixas. E super confortável além de ser uma experiência. Staff excelente, localização mais excelente ainda, a cama apesar de ser “no chão” é deliciosa!!! Indico 1000 vezes!

10.0My niece and I stayed here for one night to experience a traditional Japanese hotel. The staff were very attentive and accommodating. The room was very comfortable. The ryokan is within walking distance of many sights. I would highly recommend staying here!
