If you want to fall in love with Florence, stay with Lorenzo!! We are a family of five that stayed in his "San Lorenzo apartment" with the sofa bed, big bed and single in the bedroom. This was such a beautiful host-guest experience. Let me first say that the place is so clean and just in the best location!!! Across from the food markets and food hall and along the San Lorenzo leather market. It's a 10 min walk to the train station and about 15 minutes from any other main site/museum you could want!!!! Safe neighborhood. Apartment is up one short flight of stairs, the air conditioning and wifi are excellent and because he was able to, Lorenzo met us when we arrived and helped with our luggage. The apartment is charming with modern comforts(shower pressure and hot water was great). They supply basics like dish and hand soap, coffee/tea, body soap, shampoo and conditioner(yay!). The shelf in the bathroom and ample hooks makes everything even more comfortable. Our family or five was very comfortable there, slept well with the shutters closed and the whole place gets nice and dark. Lorenzo was able to accommodate our arrival time and leaving luggage for a short time after check out as we walked around before our train. He doesn't speak English but is just fun to interact with and takes your stay personally and wants you to enjoy your time. Go to his restaurant recommendations (I recommend walking by and making a reservation!) and stay with Lorenzo!!! You will love Florence and the apartment!

Location was fantastic and the apartment had all the facilities you need. We were a family of 4, so having 2 separate rooms with 2 single beds for the kids was perfect. Bathroom was big enough for the 4 of us. Coffee provided was pretty good. Wasn’t the sachet stuff, but some half decent coffee. We used the moka pot. Lorenzo was so accommodating and helpful. He made it so much easier.

The decor is beautiful. Spacious, well kept and exceptionally clean. Lorenzo was so helpful. If I text him half an hour before we got back to the apartment he would arrange to have the air con turned back on. He left us recommendations for places to eat and drink and a map to find them.

Wunderschönes Appartement in toller Lage

Das Appartement ist nicht weit vom Bahnhof entfernt, das Zentrum mit seinen Sehenswürdigkeiten ist zu Fuß in 5 min. erreichbar. Gegenüber befindet sich die zentrale Markthalle, in der zahlreiche Spezialitäten angeboten werden und in der sich auch eine Food Hall befindet. Wir wurden vom Gastgeber Lorenzo sehr freundlich begrüßt. Wir führten ein sehr angenehmes Gespräch und er gab uns auch hilfreiche Restaurantempfehlungen. Das Appartement mit den historischen Fresken ist wunderschön, sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und sauber. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Im Wohn-/Esszimmer befindet sich auch eine kleine Küchenzeile. Wir würden das Appartement jederzeit wieder buchen.

La ubicación y la atención de Lorenzo fue espectacular, tiene el mercado justo al frente y se agradece por la variedad de opciones que puedes tener en un solo sitio, se llega andando a todos lo sitios de interés. Sin duda un lugar que recomiendo con los ojos cerrados.
