My partner and I stayed for three nights in the private room and we absolutely adored the place! The room was big and spacious with large windows that allow much light in with blackout curtains for privacy and keeping strong light out, the shower was heated, hangers provided, and a gigantic bed that was comfortable to sleep in! Airconditioning was great and kept us nice and cool in the hot Bangkok weather. A refrigerator and microwave, with cutlery and dishes were available at the common space for our convenience as well. Service and hospitality was warm, inviting and helpful. Checking in was quite efficient as well. The check in counter was together with a cafe that filled the space with a wonderful coffee aroma but unfortunately we did not get to try the cafe out during our visit to Bangkok. The location was great too, only a few minutes walk from Saphan Taksin BTS, with various hole-in-the-wall eateries where I had some of the best food on my trip, and a decent bar down the street :) Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it as one of the best places to stay if you want to be in the Silom/Bang Rak area. Bravo!

Die Lage des Hostels ist genial, mitten im Geschehen Bangkoks mit Anbindung an Fähren, Bussen und Skytrain. Alles in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, auch tolle Möglichkeiten um zum Essen, ob Restaurants oder Strassenstände - alles in Hülle und Fülle vorhanden. Das Hostel hat eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre, sofort beim Betreten. Wir hatten das Zimmer für zwei mit Dusche/WC. Habe mich selten so wohl und sicher gefühlt. Alles hat gepasst.

Hôtel très sympathique et bien localisé proche de la station BTS Saphan Taksin et du Sathon Pier (bateau pour le Grand Palais et le Wat Pho). La famille qui tient l’hôtel est très gentille. Nous avions une chambre privative avec salle de bain : propre et équipée avec le strict nécessaire. Mais pas besoin de plus quand on passe la journée dehors. Je recommande!

we stayed in their private room. the private room had a queen size bed so it fitted 3 people perfectly. the shower room as spacious and not squeezy like other toilets at other hostels. though the water does clog because of the small draining system but overall the room was great. they even have a sofa to put your belongings. The owner of Zhelter BKK was the best hostel owner I have met thus far. so what happened was a day before I told him I would arrive at his hostel at midnight but the flight got delayed and the crowd at don meung was chaotic that we only arrive at his hostel at 3 am in the morning. he stood at the entrance of his hostel patiently waiting for us in case we got lost.
