Nada me gustó

− Mi experiencia en este hotel fue muy negativa. La atención fue deficiente, ya que no había personal disponible para atender a los huéspedes. Al llegar, la habitación no contaba con papel higiénico ni con otros elementos básicos que normalmente se esperan en un hotel. Solicité estos artículos en varias ocasiones, pero me respondieron que no había nadie disponible en el establecimiento y nunca resolvieron el problema. Además, la habitación tenía un aspecto descuidado y poco agradable, hasta el punto de generar inseguridad. El baño era extremadamente pequeño y poco cómodo. El personal que me atendió tampoco fue amable ni mostró interés en solucionar los inconvenientes. En conclusión, no recomiendo este hotel debido a la falta de atención, las malas condiciones de la habitación y la ausencia de servicios básicos.

Fraught with Issues

The daytime staff were always very nice and friendly. The room and apartment complex is historical and elegant. This applies to the structures like grand windows and doors. Another positive is the room is massive. In the heat, air conditioning and fan were appreciated and effective. Room was a mid day salvation from the heat (until problems listed below). Finally, proximity to town centre was a plus but not annoying close. Not too crowded by front door and good selection of bars, restaurants and shops in the area. Also appreciated the hotel gave good recommendations for food and other things too.

− Headline here is on the final night we discovered our bed had bed bugs after several bites. We assumed mosquitos at first as the apartment is not too far from the river but upon a very thorough inspection of the mattress we did discover bed bug fecal matter and bed bug skin shed at the head of the mattress, likely also in the headboard. That being said, I had already wanted to highlight a few items that were lacking in the hotel even before discovering bed bugs on our first night. First item, the 8am to 7pm front desk. For a hotel fraught with issues in a busy city where you're out most of the day or could land late is not great. The hotel does provide a number you can call during out of hours but as I explain below this was not super useful. Unfortunately some other smaller issues were a blocked sink and dirty floors. I spilled my water bottle and upon mopping with a tissue discovered dirty floors by the bed as the tissue came up black. Also in the bathroom, the underside of the bath mat was stained black and brown from touching the bathroom floor. The amenities provided were lacking. Free toiletries and toilet paper are listed on booking.com as amenities provided in the room. We were provided three thin toilet rolls for our four night stay between two of us. This was not topped up when housekeeping came to make our bed or provide us with new towels and reception was closed when we needed more. We tried calling the number for out of hours reception but they explained they would help us at 8am. We also tried looking for anything around the reception area but no luck. Finally I will finish with some minor issues that could help improve the experience for customers but are not as essential as the first points: - Majority of sockets do not fit travel adaptors well. Including bedside socket. - Shower head is overhead only, no hand held option so if that is an issue for your hair for example not ideal for you. -TV had no smart function such as Netflix or...

A localização do hotel é excelente, extremamente perto de tudo em Florença. Fizemos praticamente todos os passeios andando todos os dias, incluindo Ponte Vecchio, Duomo, Palazzo Uffizi e vários outros pontos turísticos. Também há cafeterias, restaurantes e mercados próximos, o que facilita muito a estadia. O quarto era gigante, a cama muito confortável e o banheiro excelente. O hotel é muito bom, principalmente considerando o preço e a localização. Recomendo bastante para quem quer conhecer Florença a pé e ficar bem localizado.

− Não teve nada em específico que tenha sido ruim. A estadia foi excelente e o hotel atendeu muito bem ao que esperávamos. O único ponto que poderia melhorar seria oferecer café da manhã, o que deixaria a experiência ainda mais completa.

Great comfortable room in fantastic location

Excellent location and a spacious room. We booked the ‘Economy’ room and it was definitely good value for money. Staff are kind and helpful, and the bed was very comfortable. We would happily stay here again.

− Worth noting the Economy room is on the darker side, without much natural light. The door has an old-fashioned key that takes a little effort to open. A couple of small things too — the soaps weren’t refilled and it was dusty under the bed.

Location was great, room had a lot of space, bed was good, overall was pretty good

− The box in the bathroom tho would leak and the don't replace amenities, so you need to buy you one things, also didn't seem like cleaners clean the bathroom
