− During summer insects are a minor nuisance. As such you should not bring food into your rooms. There is a separate kitchen to have you can use for dining and storing your food.

Excellent ryokan, exceptionally clean, with a wonderful host and a peaceful location.
10.0Excellent traditional ryokan in a quiet area, yet within easy reach of the centre. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the owner was exceptionally kind and helpful, providing great restaurant recommendations.
− As it’s a traditional ryokan, some noise from neighbouring rooms is to be expected. We had two peaceful nights, but our last night was noisy due to other guests chatting and coming and going late at night. This was, of course, no fault of the hosts.
